> Exhibit G is SAG-AFTRA's Performers Production Time Report, the daily time sheet for union performers on a signatory production. It records each performer's work status, makeup and set times, meal breaks, travel, stunts, wardrobe, and tutoring for minors, and each performer signs their line at the end of the day.

## The columns, left to right

The official form is published by SAG-AFTRA as a [fillable PDF](https://www.sagaftra.org/sites/default/files/production_time_report_fillable.pdf). The header carries the picture title, production company, shoot date, location, and whether it's a studio or location day. Then each performer gets one row with these groups of columns:

## How the times get recorded

A PA or the 2nd 2nd AD notes each performer's times as they happen and doesn't reconstruct them from memory at wrap. Two edges matter most: the time the performer reported (to makeup, or to set if they arrived camera ready) and the time they were released, including time to get out of wardrobe. [Meal penalties](https://storiara.com/glossary/meal-penalty) and [turnaround](https://storiara.com/glossary/turnaround) are calculated from these edges, so a 15-minute rounding error on dismiss time can become a forced call the next morning.

## Mistakes that turn into claims

Copying times from the [call sheet](https://storiara.com/glossary/call-sheet) rather than recording actual times is the most common. Others: marking a performer W on a day they were on hold (H), leaving the wardrobe column blank when an actor brought their own outfits at production's request, and not recording tutoring time for minors with a [studio teacher](https://storiara.com/glossary/studio-teacher). If the Exhibit G disagrees with the [daily production report](https://storiara.com/glossary/daily-production-report), expect questions from both payroll and the union.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who fills out Exhibit G?

The 2nd AD or 2nd 2nd AD keeps it through the day, often from notes kept by a set PA. The performers sign their own lines before they leave set.

### What happens if an actor won't sign Exhibit G?

The AD notes that the performer declined to sign and keeps the times as recorded. An unsigned line is a flag for SAG-AFTRA and payroll, so sort out the disagreement the same day if you can.

### Where does Exhibit G get sent?

Copies go to payroll for processing and to SAG-AFTRA, usually weekly together with the call sheets, with a copy kept by the production. Check your signatory paperwork for the exact deadlines on your agreement.

### Does a non-union shoot need Exhibit G?

No. It's a SAG-AFTRA form. Non-union productions still benefit from keeping similar cast time records, but they don't use Exhibit G.
